The Problem: The Prototyping “Black Box”

Developing medical devices—specifically those involving lab lasers—requires extreme precision and sub-microsecond synchronization between actuation pulses and data capture. Off-the-shelf components are often too generalized for these needs, creating a “black box” where developers lose control over exact timing.

Existing solutions often fail to maintain synchronicity when scaling to multiple channels or when real-time signal processing is required to filter out environmental noise before the data reaches the host PC.

Our Solution: Real-Time Laser Synchronization

We developed DiaMonDAQ specifically to eliminate these bottlenecks. It functions as a real-time orchestrator for laboratory equipment, providing multiple ADC channels and I/Os with advanced PWM capabilities.

By ensuring that laser generation and high-speed data sampling occur on a shared clock, DiaMonDAQ guarantees the absolute synchronicity of captured data, enabling researchers to see exactly how a system responds to a specific pulse event.
